The integration of Snap's AR technology into ComplexCon started with creative brainstorming to enhance both the in-person and virtual attendee experience. Design and technical teams then developed three distinct AR lenses, leveraging Snap's advanced features like wayfinding, Try-On & Body Mesh technology, and dynamic APIs. Rigorous testing phases followed, refining the user experience based on internal and external feedback. At the event, these lenses were launched, offering interactive guides, virtual try-ons, and celebratory features to engage attendees. Post-event analysis provided valuable insights, shaping future innovations in AR event experiences.

In collaboration with Snap, we developed three unique AR lenses for the ComplexCon event, enriching both the on-site and at-home shopping experience.


3D Virtual Map & Exclusive Drop Lens: This lens offered festival attendees first dibs on sneaker and fashion launches. Items in drop zones animated on users’ screens, revealing codes for purchasing favorites.


Global Access AR Try-On Lens: Attendees and remote participants could virtually try on the latest gear. This lens leveraged AR for a global shopping experience, allowing users to explore and buy items directly within Snapchat.


Celebration Lens: Successful purchases earned bragging rights. With this lens, fans announced their exclusive buys, sharing their joy in a personalised way.
